Episode 4 - Lifestylers!

Fourth episode is up early because I managed to finish the editing way early.

Episode 4 - Lifestylers (direct; AAC; 17.6 MB)

The link to the podcast feed is over on the right. In related news, we're in the iTunes podcast directory! If you are using iTunes, we would really appreciate it if you would subscribe through the iTunes directory link, as it lets us get a rough number of how many listeners we have (among other things).

Also, we're trying out a comment system on these entries. Let us know what you think!

Episode 3 - The late one

Sorry about missing last week. We had some weather problems, scheduling problems, and all sorts of other things that conspired to keep us from recording. We were able to get it this week, though, and here are the links:

Introducing: Jen Ferret

An actual, real, and straight female, guest cohosting with us this coming podcast. They do exist. :O

Send in comments to KnotCast@FoxStuffers.com if you doubt her existence or want to ask a question of her.. or anything else.

Episode 3 is delayed.

Til next week, due to additional unforseen complications. Stuff happens, things are delayed, and 5 people shifting agendas about sometimes doesn't work. So.. yeah. 'Episode 3 - Foxes do not work that way' is going to be delayed a bit. We're going to do our usual Thursday night recording, so hopefully the next show will be out on Saturday.

However, this also gives you more time to send in emails for the next show. Drop us a line!

Second time's a charm, right?

Unfortunately, the episode is going to be slightly delayed.. We had an issue with our recording equipment and basically lost the show. One of the channels was dead and we realized this at 10pm after halfway into the recording. Since it was too late to start over on a 1 hour podcast with people working in the morning, we had to convene.

We're going to re-record on saturday afternoon, hopefully without any other delays cropping up.

Sorry guys!

Audio glitches

Well, the episode sounded fine on my machine when I was editing it. I'm not sure why it seems so much quieter after I exported it. Working on a higher-volume master now.

Edit: Higher volume versions are up. You can download them using the same links. Hopefully they'll fix the volume issue.

In iTunes, you should delete the original Episode 2, unsubscribe from the podcast, then resubscribe. That will convince it to download the episode "again".

Emailageddon

Second episode is up. Here are all the links:

Now comes in MP3

Due to popular demand (okay, one person E-mailed us about it and we thought it would be a good idea), KnotCast is now offered in MP3 form. I'll try to get both versions published simultaneously, but there may be a delay. Frankly, the AAC version is more interesting to me, since it provides such higher quality for the file size as well as all of the "Enhanced Podcast" features like chapters, album art, and embedded links. As a result, the AAC will likely be published first, but an MP3 version should follow shortly thereafter. It just requires a bit more manual tweaking. So without further delay, the first episode of KnotCast in MP3 form:

Episode 1 - Let There Be Knots (direct link; MP3, 26.7 MB)

For real, this time!

Okay. The first episode should be live for real now. Again, here are the links:

Episode 1 - Let There Be Knots (direct link; AAC, 14.5 MB)

I'm working on making a version in MP3 for people who either don't like AAC or can't play it. The problem is that the MP3 version either is a lot larger or sounds terrible. We're looking into our options and we'll figure something out. If any of you have suggestions, please E-mail us at KnotCast@FoxStuffers.com.

As a side note, I think it's pretty cool that Fuzz had a random idea, and we made it a reality in almost exactly one month.
